Dr. Erica Sandberg is a native Houstonian. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. Dr. Sandberg graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences with a minor in Marine Sciences. She did her veterinary medical training at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude in 2011. While in her final year at A&M, Dr. Sandberg was awarded the Gentle Doctor Award, which is given to a senior veterinary student who exhibits extraordinary compassion, patience, sensitivity and a gentle manner in her ability to relate to clients and patients.
Dr. Sandberg has experience as a small animal general practitioner in the Houston area. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sandberg sincerely cares about her patients and their families. She is passionate about giving each pet individualized, comfortable and painless end of life care.
Dr. Sandberg and her husband are the proud parents of two boys, as well as a Jack Russell Terrier – Dachshund mix named Millie. In her free time, Dr. Sandberg enjoys photography, painting, and reading.
