Last Wishes provides in-home hospice and euthanasia services to local families that want to be in the comfort of their own home during the last days or moments of their pet’s life.
Please note that Last Wishes does NOT perform any of the following services: blood sampling/testing, radiographs, long term pain management, yearly examinations, vaccinations, or placing feeding tubes or urinary catheters. We always recommend that clients visit their regular veterinarian for any of those services.
Last Wishes’ primary goal is to provide the best possible end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their home. Since this is the only service I offer, I am able to travel to the home and spend the necessary time to allow your client and his/her family to have the personal comfort of being with their pet in its natural surroundings. My hospice and palliative care services are by referral, which means that I will work closely with the referring veterinarian on behalf of the patient to formulate a sound hospice plan.
No medical advice is offered for other pets the client may own.
As a courtesy to you, your clinic will be notified on a regular basis of any hospice or euthanasia services performed for one or more of your clients. In this way, you will be able to stay current with the medical records for your patients. I thank you in advance for working with me to provide your clients with peaceful and dignified in-home end-of-life care.
Please feel free to contact Last Wishes directly if you have any questions.
