Read “Duke’s” story of his last day with his beloved family members

So many of us hope for the morning when we wake up and find that our pet has made the difficult decision for us and passed quietly in the night, but this is unfortunately a relatively rare occurrence. When an individual or family chooses humane euthanasia, they have found the strength to put their sadness aside and focus on what the pet needs. This decision is a very unselfish act, and is made out of love.

It is my mission is to support you and your family in making the best decision for your pet regarding euthanasia. I respect the needs of each individual family and I understand that what’s right for one family may not be right for another. My philosophy is that every pet deserves to live a life free of physical discomfort and emotional pain. Allowing your companion to experience a peaceful transition is a gift. It is the ultimate way in which to honor the bond you have formed with your beloved pet. In no other situation is this bond stronger. I founded Last Wishes because I believe every pet deserves to be as comfortable and as pain-free as possible during their final moments. Every pet owner deserves the compassion, guidance, and expertise Last Wishes provides.

Allow me to make the experience as stress-free as possible and give you some piece of mind. All you need to do is be there for your beloved companion. We will take care of the rest.

With warmest regards,

Dr. Christie Cornelius
President of Last Wishes
